A time money went missing

Last year on a sunny, pleasant day I started saving money to try buy an element skateboard, because my other skateboard was getting old. So I grabbed a jar and and put it in my mum’s room. After a few months went by i got $60 for my Birthday and $40 as my christmas present, that makes a total of $100 dollars.

I wanted to go straight to the skate shop to buy a brand new skateboard, but all of my cousin’s came over to play with us and because we had a prayer meeting with their parents and stuff. After I finished stashing my money inside of my jar, all the kid’s were called to come and have something to eat. They served us chicken, potato salad and much more but I wasn't really hungry, just wanted to go to the skate shop.

When everyone was full on eating,I secretly took a look on how my money was doing. I mysteriously noticed that something was wrong, my jar filled with money is gone! So I searched the room, hoping I could find the money, questioning myself ‘have i lost the money, has someone stolen it, did I put the jar somewhere else?’ While my cousins and their parent’s were about to leave i then realized that my auntie's baby was holding a jar filled with money.”could this be the jar i've been looking for? I slowly crept up to the baby and politely asked if i could please have the jar back, but he refused to give it so I snatched it off and quickly hid it in a safe place. My baby cousin bursted into tears when I snached it off him but I gave a sweet lollipop to calm him down.

immersion assembly

On Monday  we had a immersion assembly about our new school topic, adaptation and survivor. When we were all seated quietly, Mr Burt showed us a video about a selfish parrot who didn’t survive because he never adapted through life. A family of three was being bothered and annoyed by the selfish parrot, So they Hired a Hunter to come and Exterminate it. The hunter killed the selfish and annoying parrot by shooting it through the head, after that he cooked it in the oven and ate with the family of three.

Two of my favourite items was team 2’s and team 5’s. I like team 2’s one because they talked about dinosaurs and how they didn’t survive because they never adapted. Sadly they were obliterated by a humongous meteor which caused them to become extinct.

and i like our team item/team 5 because it was like a comedy show and it was also very funny and entertaining, because they had to try eat noodles with chopsticks. Miss Clark made it look easy because she’s been eating with chopsticks since she was three! but it was difficult for the other teachers because they probably don't have enough experience to eat with chopsticks . Miss clark came in first place and was received an idle which was Morus the mascot. Both these items were exciting, funny and interesting

Maths this week

This week in our maths class we have been learning about measurements and angles. The angles we have been learning about this week was acute, obtuse, right, reflex and straight. First of we use this game to see how good we can accurately measure these angles. Once we have got the hang of this game, we have to try measure angles that were given to us by our teacher. An acute angle is an angle that is less then 90 degrees. A right angle is exactly 90 degrees. The obtuse angle is greater then 90 but is less then 180 degrees. The straight angle is exactly 180 degrees and the reflex angle is greater then 180 degrees.Image result for protractor

(This is an image of what a protractor looks like.)

(below are some angles that we have measured in class)
can you figure out what the measurements of these angles are?

How to prevent yourself from getting sick

Being sick is not nice. It’s important we look after ourselves, otherwise you will face the consequences. There are a lot of ways to prevent yourself from getting sick, below are some easy methods to stop yourself from becoming sick.

One of the easiest ways of staying healthy is eating a balanced range of food. This means eating from the 5 food groups with a focus on fruits and vegetables. If you do that then your body will receive all the nutrients it needs to be in the best condition to fight off invading germs.

Another way to prevent yourself from getting sick is to not share any food or drinks with someone that has saliva/germs all over it. This means you should only share food/drinks with your friends if you haven’t already eaten/drunk it yet. If you do this then you will stop yourself from spreading germs and saliva in your mouth and from getting diseases like meningitis.

A final way to prevent yourself from getting sick is to keep warm wherever you are/go. This means to wrap yourself into a nice and warm blanket or a jumper/jacket. If you do this you will prevent yourself from getting cold which will keep from getting sick.

These are some of the ways from stopping yourself from getting sick if you follow this advice that i have given you, you will have a less chance from getting sick

2 easy ways to prevent yourself from getting sick.

There are a lot of ways to prevent yourself from getting sick, here is one way that me and my group have chosen. Do not share any food or drinks with someone that has saliva/germs all over it. This means you should only share food/drinks with your friends if you haven’t already eaten/drunk it yet. If you do this then you will stop yourself from getting meningitis.

(Here is another one I done by my self.)One of the easiest ways to prevent yourself from getting sick is to keep warm wherever you are/go. This means to wrap yourself into a nice and warm blanket or a jumper/jacket. If you do this you will prevent yourself from getting cold and from getting sick.
